Split

Split is the largest city in Dalmatia, and the second largest city in Croatia by population. It is the economic and cultural center of Dalmatia. It is located in the central part of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, bordered by the Bay of Kaštela to the west and north, and the Brač Channel to the south, and covers most of the Split Peninsula, which connects to the mainland on its northern and eastern sides.
